How We Handle Your Information
Last updated 29 August 2026
What we collect
If you complete the inquiry form on this site, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, business email, company, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. A phone number and website address are optional.
If you email us directly, we receive whatever is in your message.
Why we hold it
We use this information for one purpose: to reply to you and, if it becomes relevant, to discuss working together. We do not sell it, rent it or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Records relating to client work are kept for as long as we need them for that work and for our own business and tax records.
Who else is involved
A few services process information on our behalf:
- Our website host, Netlify, receives form submissions and standard server logs.
- Our email provider handles the messages we exchange with you.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site, which means your browser requests those files from Google.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Fathom Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. Fathom does not set cookies, does not follow you across other websites and does not collect personal information. What we see is aggregate: how many people visited, which pages they looked at, which country they came from and which site referred them. We cannot identify an individual visitor from it.
We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we will say so here.
Confidential inquiries
Reputation and crisis inquiries are handled discreetly and shared only with the people at Mackasey who need to see them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@mackaseyhow.com and we will respond.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as PIPEDA in Canada, the GDPR in the UK and Europe, or state privacy laws in the United States. We will honour those rights where they apply.
Changes
If this notice changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
