Journalists are already seeking qualified experts through platforms such as Qwoted, HARO and Connectively. Mackasey finds relevant requests, crafts tailored expert responses and manages follow-up and reporting—behind the scenes, under your agency’s brand.
Earned media. Real editorial backlinks. Most of the placements we secure include a backlink to the client’s website. We never pay for links or editorial coverage.
Earned Coverage. Editorial Backlinks. No Paid Links.
We respond to genuine journalist requests, not paid-link opportunities or guest-post marketplaces. Most of the editorial placements we secure include a backlink to the client’s website. Editors decide what they publish and whether to link; Mackasey never pays for that coverage or the links.
01

We monitor relevant source requests through Qwoted, HARO and Connectively, use Featured for additional opportunity discovery, and review selected private networks where accessible. Every opportunity is assessed for genuine client fit.
02
Expert responses that fit the story
Opportunity vetting, spokesperson positioning, individually written commentary, deadline management and editorial follow-up.
03
Earned links you can verify
Live article URLs, expert mentions, publication metrics and any editorial backlinks—checked and organized into agency-ready reports.
Editorial Authority Program
Built Around Published Results.
Our proposed flagship program is structured around a 90-day commitment for client accounts that pass an editorial opportunity assessment.
Each account is reviewed for genuine expertise, suitable media demand, and the ability to provide timely source input. The final guarantee and remedy are specified in the written partner agreement.
24qualifying placements over 90 days for approved campaigns, under signed terms
DR 50+minimum Ahrefs Domain Rating for a qualifying placement; campaign average target 70+
These are proposed program parameters, not an automatic guarantee for every applicant. Most of our earned placements include backlinks; whether an individual article links is the publisher’s decision. Qualifying link standards, guarantee eligibility and remedies are confirmed in a signed agreement.
Examples of Our Work
See the Articles. See the Experts.
Examples of published coverage from Mackasey’s broader earned-media work. These are real editorial articles—not sample placements or promises of coverage in any particular outlet.

Should You Cover Your Garden With Cardboard in Fall? Experts Weigh In
Kathleen Hallal of FireHawk Bioherbicide provides specialist perspective on weed management and seasonal garden care.
These are examples from broader earned-media campaigns, not a claim that each meets the separate backlink or Domain Rating criteria of the proposed agency program. Every prospective qualifying placement is assessed on its own merits.

Which platforms do you use to find opportunities?
We review journalist requests on Qwoted, HARO and Connectively, supplement discovery with Featured, and monitor selected private journalist-source networks when relevant and accessible. Platform selection varies with the client’s expertise and the actual requests available; these are independent services, not paid placement guarantees.
What is a qualifying editorial placement?
An original, publicly accessible article by an independent editorial outlet that quotes or cites an approved client expert, includes an agreed qualifying backlink and meets the minimum DR standard. Paid placements, press-release syndication, duplicate pickups and an outreach submission alone do not count toward a guarantee.
Are the links earned or paid? Do most articles include one?
They are earned. We do not pay journalists or publishers for editorial coverage or links, and we do not sell paid link insertions. Most of the placements we secure include a backlink to the client’s website, but the journalist or editor decides whether a specific article includes one. We verify published links and apply the agreed backlink criteria when determining which placements qualify under an approved program.
Do you guarantee a named publication?
No. Journalists decide which experts to include, whether to link, and when articles publish. We qualify each prospective client before any written placement guarantee is offered.
What happens if placements are delayed?
For approved programs, monthly shortfalls are assessed against the full 90-day commitment. Any make-good period and financial remedy are detailed in the signed partner agreement before the campaign begins.
Can you work under our brand?
Yes. We can provide confidential fulfillment and unbranded reporting while the agency owns communications and commercial terms with its end client. Specific workflow and confidentiality arrangements are agreed during onboarding.
